Stayed at this self-catering place surrounded by mountains, olive groves, and a beach nearby. Had fun diving and getting lost in the labyrinthine charm.

Couldn't find Minotaur in the maze. Disappointing.

Welcoming and friendly. Fotis and Katerina went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay - they offered suggestions on places to go/eat, helped us with booking a tour and regularly left treats in the room. Katerinas chocolate brownies were delicious! Labyrinth is about a 25 minute walk from Plakias or 5 euro if you prefer a taxi. There are plenty of walks in the area and several nice beaches nearby. Alternatively the sun beds by the pool and the box of books in various languages offer a lazy option. All in all very relaxing and would return.

This was our second stay at Labyrinth. The owners are a very pleasent and friendly couple who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The Labrynth is very clean and is in an ideal position to get to the beach and town but far enough out to be very peaceful we would highly recommend it and will be returning there when we next go to Crete

Labyrinth Studios exceeded my expectations with clean and well-equipped studios. The hosts - Katerina and Fotis - provided helpful information about local tavernas and beaches. The pool was kept spotless and the garden provided shade for parking. The comfortable bed mattress was a pleasant surprise.

Impressive location someone before me used holistic with olive trees all around.. Very kind staff. Swimming pool available and clean. You can reach everything by driving for just 3 minutes by car.

Credit card was not usable so we paid cash (and we had no receipt). Some mosquitoes at night Refrigerator was noisy.

Couldn't stay longer.

It was a family-owned hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was very good, clean and the facilities were very good. It is very close to Plakias and to beautiful beaches of South Rethymno.

Excellent hospitality, lovely homemade treats, beautiful surroundings and a very fully equiped kitchen! We wish we could have stayed longer.

The price was very reasonable and the location was great. Also, the wife who ran the hotel was very nice with her baked bread and willing smile. The pool was a plus too.

The beds are not so great. I am really sorry to write this, but the owner of the hotel is rude, there is no two ways around it. I am sure he does not see himself this way, but it is the truth, sorry. Again, his wife could not have been nicer. I am writing this because I always use Booked.net and I always read the reviews from others. I would still stay at this hotel because there are many positives.
